Game Pass Unlimited customers are having their first dibs on the sale
At its XO19 meeting in London, Microsoft revealed its Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. The company will offer the largest discounts on Xbox One consoles as well as price reductions on controllers and multiple games.
Offers will operate on the Microsoft Store from November 24th to December 2nd (that’s a couple of days earlier than other stores can kick things off), although owners of Xbox Game Pass Plus and Xbox Live Gold will be able to access such offers much earlier beginning on November 21.
You can get a three-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $1 starting on November 14th if you want to be one of the first to access the deals below. This offer is only available to first-time users and will also provide one-month EA Access access, three months of Discord Nitro and six months of Spotify Premium as long as you do not already have subscriptions to these platforms.
Microsoft provides $150 off all individual Xbox One X consoles and accessories of system sales, as well as $100 off any Xbox One S package. The pack for Xbox One S All-Digital Edition will be even better, down to $149.99, and will come with some in-game items from Minecraft, Isle of Thieves, and Fortnite. These deals don’t stand out from those we’ve seen confirmed from Best Buy, Walmart, or Target, but earlier here you’re going to be able to get into the savings.
Xbox Wireless controllers such as Microsoft’s Night Ops Camo Special Edition, Sport Blue Special Edition, and Kait Diaz Limited Edition will be off $20 ($49). If you want your controller to choose your own colour scheme, Xbox Design Lab controllers will be off $10 (starting at $59). Microsoft claims these are going to be the season’s best sales, but other stores are selling controller offers beginning at $39. So if you wanted to buy a console, it’s a good time to do it now, no matter where you’re browsing.
And if you’re looking to play any new games over Thanksgiving, Microsoft provides 50% off on its in-house releases, including Forza Horizon 4, Sea of Thieves.
